• Lead and coach Child Safety Leads and Specialists, set team goals, and own their wellness and development plans.
• Identify cross-business risks and build proactive programs and processes to address them.
• Improve operational workflows through process changes and automation, and set best practices for implementing policies.
• Set and interpret performance metrics, and report progress and findings to stakeholders.
• Define a long-term plan for hiring and volume growth in child safety operations.
• Track global legislation and regulation on handling and reporting child safety material and assess its impact.

What it asks for

• At least 5 years of Trust & Safety experience with an emphasis on child safety and online abuse.
• At least 5 years of people management, running operational teams spanning several regions.
• Experience reviewing or being exposed to sensitive content in removal flows, calibration and escalations.
• Experience running several projects at once and building team strategies to deliver them.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams, senior stakeholders and executives.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
