Accenture

Accenture plc is a technology consulting company headquartered in Dublin, Ireland. Accenture's business is organised into five segments. Accenture has operations in 200+ cities and over 120 countries.

Accenture began as the business and technology consulting division of accounting firm Arthur Andersen in the early 1950s. On 1 January 2001, Andersen Consulting adopted the name "Accenture". Accenture was incorporated in Bermuda in 2001. On 26 May 2009, Accenture announced that its board of directors had unanimously approved changing the company's place of incorporation from Bermuda to Ireland. Accenture had approximately 814,000 employees as of 2026. Since 2013, Accenture has acquired over 200 companies.

In February 2019, contractors from Accenture's Austin, Texas, location performed content moderation tasks for Facebook and wrote an open letter to Facebook.
