How we store and share your information

T&S Network: consent to store and share your information (version 1.3) By creating a T&S Network account, you agree to the following. WHAT WE STORE The details you choose to give us: your name, contact addresses, location, professional background, a LinkedIn profile address if you give us one, the specialties and seniority level you select, and anything you type into your profile. We also record your activity on the site, such as the jobs you save, the alerts you set and the companies you follow. HOW YOUR INFORMATION IS USED 1. Outreach. The T&S Network may contact you about open jobs, introductions, and opportunities that appear to match your background. 2. Automated tooling. We use software to store, search, rank, filter, and match records in our database, and to send you email such as job alerts and the T&S Digest. Automated systems shortlist candidates and draft introductions. A person reads and decides before anything is sent. 3. Employer and recruiter access. Employers and recruiters may pay the T&S Network for access to search, matching, and introduction services, and the services we offer them may change over time. Today, employers cannot browse or search candidate profiles themselves. We may offer employers paid self-serve search of candidate profiles in future. If we do, everything under YOUR CONTROL below still applies, and we will say so on the site before it starts. IF YOU SWITCH ON AVAILABLE IN HIDDEN TALENT This is what happens when Available is on, and it happens without us asking you first. An employer, recruiter or agency describes a role to us. A person here looks at the people who have switched Available on and sends them a shortlist. If you are on it, the shortlist names you: your name, your current title, your current employer, the disciplines you work in, your level, where you are based, the work arrangement you prefer, your LinkedIn profile if you gave us one, and a line on why we think you fit the role. Your email address is not in that shortlist. It is sent only after the employer comes back and says which people they want to take further. Your profile is never publicly listed, and nobody outside the T&S Network can search, browse or filter it. You are never put forward to the employer you currently work for, including any company it owns or trades as. If you would rather not be put forward, switch Available off. It stays off until you switch it back on. YOUR CONTROL You can view and edit your information at any time. You can switch Available, and anything else you have made visible, off without losing your data. You can permanently delete your account from your account settings. Deletion is immediate, cannot be undone, and destroys your records rather than hiding them: your profile, your saved jobs, your alerts, your follows, your reviews and your lists all go with it. Three things you filed about something other than yourself stay up, with your name and your link to them removed, because other people rely on them: a tool you added to the catalog, an event you put in the calendar, and an edit to a company page you claimed.
