Regional policy work on content safety for TikTok in Japan and possibly other Asia Pacific markets. The Regional Policy team is the single window between T&S Policy and the markets, leading policy escalations and making policy decisions for those markets in line with the Community Guidelines.

What you'd do

• Act as the main policy contact for your markets, owning every escalation and crisis response.
• Maintain working relationships with regional leaders in government relations, comms, legal, product, operations and business.
• Give policy input on market issues and help manage the risks they create.
• Track social media trends, user behavior and regulatory changes in your markets.
• Pull patterns from escalations and market work to shape policy updates over time.
• Write policy assessments on new trends and escalations, including disturbing material.
