What it asks for
- Post-secondary study in policy, political science, law, international affairs, film, media or a similar field.
- About 15 years of public policy or content policy experience with exposure to online safety, media regulation or entertainment.
- Strong understanding of APAC media and entertainment regulation.
- Track record in large, complex organizations, handling decisions across several functions.
- Experience at a regulator, international or regional body, or large multinational, ideally with in-house policy or content work (preferred).
- Deep understanding of APAC cultural, political, religious and social sensitivities as they apply to content (preferred).
- Experience classifying and assessing content across different market contexts (preferred).
Worth knowing
- Willingness to travel within APAC and occasionally globally.
