The role coordinates responses to major global T&S incidents, runs proactive sweeps for violative content and emerging trends, and refines incident playbooks so the team can contain harm faster over time.
What you'd do
- Lead crisis management plans and execution for T&S incidents, responding quickly to emerging threats.
- Scan product surfaces for rule-breaking material and new abuse patterns so issues get caught early.
- Quickly and fully remove the most dangerous content while live incidents are underway.
- Coordinate responses and communications with Public Relations, Public Policy, Legal, Product and Engineering.
- Design incident and containment workflows that mix automated tooling with human review.
- Analyze incident data to find risk areas and turn insights into mitigations and policy, product and process changes.
- Lead post-incident reviews of response effectiveness and update playbooks accordingly.
