Senior Software Engineer, Antifraud

Engineering work on Visa's anti-fraud systems. One system monitors transactions and communicates with third parties to verify whether they are legitimate or attempted fraud. A second system supports other modules in calculating fees.

What you'd do

• Build and maintain applications in Golang or Java with clean code practices.
• Architect fault-tolerant, secure services split into independent components.
• Work with engineering and product teams to deliver technical solutions to business needs.
• Provision and evolve AWS infrastructure with Terraform.
• Write unit and integration tests, and monitor application health with metrics, logs, and alerts.
• Review peers' code and take part in architectural discussions.

What it asks for

• 3 years of Golang experience.
• Experience in the financial industry or with payments or authorization systems.
• B2 (upper-intermediate) English.
• Experience with Java or JVM-related languages (preferred).
• Proficiency with Terraform, Argo, Jenkins, and Codefresh.
• Proficiency with AWS and distributed systems.
