Operations safety work for DoorDash Labs, the robotics and automation team building autonomous last-mile delivery products. The role runs day-to-day safety operations on the Labs programs, covering incident response, SOPs, safety analytics and audits across remote and on-site functions. • Triage safety incidents and help resolve them, documenting findings
• Contribute to root cause analysis and follow through on corrective actions
• Draft, update and maintain SOPs and flag compliance gaps to the team
• Partner with engineering, product, legal and field operations on safety for launches and scale
• Create training materials and job aids for operators and field teams

What it asks for

• 4+ years in operations, safety or a related field
• Strong written and verbal communication for explaining risk data to cross-functional partners
• Strong analytical skills and comfort with ambiguity and shifting priorities
• Autonomy, robotics, aerospace or defense experience (preferred)
• Familiarity with SMS, ISO 45001 or equivalent frameworks (preferred)
