Full-stack engineering on the Trust and Safety Tech team, building moderation, anti-abuse, and safety systems for the VRChat social VR platform. The team works to reduce harm with low friction as the platform scales, using a Node.js/Mongo backend and React frontend.

What you'd do

Develop new features for the platform and for the team that runs moderation operations.
Create support, moderation, and safety tools on the UI and server side, balancing cost against user privacy.
Work with product managers, designers, and engineers to turn product and design goals into code, with estimates and tradeoffs.
Take features through concept, prototyping, deployment, and post-launch maintenance.
Keep critical moderation and safety services usable, stable, reliable, and performant, including on-call rotations.
Review code for quality, architecture, performance, and reliability, and share knowledge across the team.

What it asks for
