Quality assurance for the Safety Model Operations team, which builds and maintains ML models and operational processes behind TikTok's Trust & Safety systems to find harmful content. The role builds and maintains golden sets of ground-truth labels for content safety policies, AI model evaluation and enforcement teams, and feeds QA findings back into human review and AI interception.

What you'd do

• Build and iterate golden sets, curating long-tail, high-risk and complex edge cases as ground-truth labels.
• Run deep-dive analyses of high-risk and heavily debated cases to find misapplication patterns and risk trends.
• Turn macro policies into executable SOPs and operational guidelines.
• Work with Operations, Algorithm, Product and global teams to find system gaps using golden set metrics.
• Set up daily QA mechanisms and a content quality management framework, and track data accuracy metrics.

What it asks for

• Proven experience in internet Trust & Safety, QA, AI data evaluation or policy operations.
• Strong logical reasoning and synthesis skills for ambiguous, complex cases.
• Ability to work and write clearly in English with colleagues across borders.
• Korean proficiency, required for daily liaison with the local Korea team.
• Understanding of how machine learning models learn and of data labeling methods (preferred).
