Genpact

Genpact is an American information technology services, consulting, and outsourcing company headquartered in New York City. It describes itself as the Agentic Operations company. It helps large enterprises run and transform their mission-critical operations. Its service areas include finance and accounting, risk and compliance, and supply chain management.

Genpact was founded in 1997 as a unit of General Electric. It started in Gurgaon, India, as GE Capital International Services under CEO Pramod Bhasin. It became independent in January 2005. It is legally domiciled in Bermuda and employs more than 125,000 people. It is listed on the NYSE.

Bain Capital became its largest shareholder in October 2012. Balkrishan Kalra became President and CEO on February 9, 2024, replacing Tiger Tyagarajan.
