Content moderation for a social media client's family of apps, applying the client's content policy to videos, news stories, pictures, political ads and profiles. The work covers keeping the platform appropriate and safe and handling reports of abuse. Bilingual Russian and English moderators handle this content for the client.

What you'd do

Review videos, news stories, still pictures, political ads and social media profiles on a computer each day.
Rate each item on how suitable it is by age, how violent it is, how sexual it is and whether political ads are transparent.
Apply the client's content policy and handling procedures consistently to each item.
Monitor user reports of abuse and identify subtle differences in meaning in digital communication.
Escalate changes that may affect performance through appropriate channels.
Hit the team's turnaround targets and quality benchmarks.
Attend mandated trainings, wellness coaching and resiliency sessions.

What it asks for

Fluent in Russian and English, including reading and writing in both.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Computer literacy with Windows, Apple OS, Microsoft Office and Google applications.
Familiarity with support tools such as Zendesk and Slack.
Strong written and oral communication and problem-solving skills.
