Content moderation for a social media platform's apps, working for TaskUs as a vendor serving a client. The role applies the client's content policy to videos, news stories, pictures, political ads and profiles, scoring them for age-appropriateness, violence, sexual content and political transparency. Some campaigns include child exploitation, animal torture, gang violence, murder and hate speech.

What you'd do

Review videos, news stories, still pictures, political ads and social media profiles on a computer each day.
Rate each item for age suitability, violence, sexual material and political transparency.
Apply the client's content policy and handling procedures consistently.
Identify subtle differences in meaning in digital communication and enforce the client's terms of use.
Monitor user reports of abuse on the site.
Escalate changes that may affect performance or required KPIs through appropriate channels.
Attend wellness coaching sessions and wellness groups, and take part in employee assistance and reporting programs.

Fluent in English and Romanian, able to read and speak both.
