Quality assurance for a moderation team working on Finnish-language content on a short video platform. QA owns performance monitoring and reporting for internal and external stakeholders, and clears blockers to high moderation performance within Trust & Safety.
What you'd do
- Set SMART goals and build a best-practice QA methodology for projects, working with cross-functional teams.
- Run regular calibration meetings to keep knowledge and quality standards consistent across stakeholders.
- Audit moderation work daily, analyze errors, and give feedback to the teams involved.
- Pass policy updates to teams and route policy questions between internal and external stakeholders with the Policy POC.
- Compile and deliver performance data reports to SME and management teams.
- Run RCA escalations through the relevant process and assess market performance gaps with proposed fixes.
- Help build onboarding SOPs, training materials, and a training plan, and support the onboarding team.
What it asks for
- Minimum of one year in QA, or related trust and safety or policy work, at a large tech or media firm.
- High proficiency in Finnish, spoken and written, for communication with Finnish markets.
- Fluent English, the working language.
- Familiarity with the business logic of labeling and with upstream and downstream team workflows.
- Comfort collaborating across many cross-functional partners and working through ambiguity.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a short video product industry (preferred)
- Experience in content moderation, content quality, content safety, or labeling (preferred)
