• Own the annual elections and high-risk event integrity strategy, risk tiers, playbooks and launch readiness in the region.
• Manage the daily work with outside fact-checkers and keep their ratings consistent.
• Pass fact-check results into product interventions and ops playbooks.
• Turn signals from escalations, root cause analyses and partners into mitigation plans.
• Define and track program health metrics and early-warning indicators with Data Science.
• Work with Product, Policy, Operations and UX on search guides, banners and information hubs.
• Run cross-functional sprints when issues flare and document decisions, owners and next steps.

What it asks for

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Bring 5+ years of program, T&S, or risk work, or similar problem-solving roles.
• Deep expertise in misinformation, civic integrity including elections, or AI-generated content.
• Strong analytical judgment with complex, ambiguous data.
• Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese.
• Prior work with outside partners like fact-checkers, NGOs or researchers (preferred).
• Experience with LATAM and/or Brazil civic integrity or misinformation issues (preferred).
