Software engineering for Cloudforce One, the threat operations and research team that identifies and disrupts cyber threats from cyber criminal activity to nation-state advanced persistent threats. The systems support threat disruption and legal response, and draw on Cloudflare's global network data to produce threat intelligence for analysts and customers.

What you'd do

• Own the full software lifecycle, from design and architecture through deployment and monitoring, for threat disruption and legal response systems.
• Build data pipelines that collect, analyze, and expose threat intelligence on TTPs and IOCs for analysts and customers.
• Design, run, and scale distributed tools and services supporting cyber threat disruption and platform abuse efforts.
• Turn legal and security demands into scalable software, working alongside threat intel, T&S, legal, and product staff.
• Maintain production services and take part in on-call rotations.
• Raise the reliability and speed of internal and customer-facing compliance and security systems through better architecture.
• Mentor developers on testing, modularity, and reusable code.

What it asks for

• At least 5 years building large-scale software, preferably distributed systems.
• At least 3 years working with threat intelligence or supporting a threat intelligence platform.
• Production code experience in Go and/or TypeScript.
• Background designing and wiring up REST and/or gRPC services.
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Hands-on use of AI tools in software development, including agent-driven workflows (preferred).
• Familiarity with Rust (preferred).
