The role, in T&S terms
Written by the T&S Network from Adobe's posting.
Threat intelligence and reverse engineering work to find, investigate and disrupt fraud, abuse and adversarial activity against Adobe's products, services and wider ecosystem. The team uses threat intelligence, reverse engineering, technical investigations, detection engineering and AI-driven tools to turn findings into scalable mitigations that protect the platform and its customers.
What you'd do
- Track attacker activity, fraud and abuse hitting Adobe's products and internal operations, plus new threats as they surface.
- Take apart malicious tools, browser extensions and attack infrastructure to record how attackers operate.
- Run complex investigations into fraud, account compromise and platform misuse, including attribution and root cause analysis.
- Turn investigative findings into detection, monitoring, prevention and enforcement capabilities with engineering partners.
- Write intelligence assessments, executive briefings and risk assessments that inform detection and operational decisions.
- Help with incident response and new threat cases by supplying attribution work and strategy advice.
What it asks for
- Strong written, verbal and presentation skills for technical, operational and executive audiences.
- Experience using SQL or SPL and data analysis to support investigations and test hypotheses.
- Track record of spotting risk signals and odd behavior, then building detection or enforcement from them.
- Background in fraud, threat intel, cyber investigations or trust and safety work (preferred).
- Experience reviewing commerce or transactional platform activity for suspicious behavior (preferred).
- Familiarity with AI-enabled threats or automation in investigative and detection workflows (preferred).
