Enforcement operations for Etsy's Content Compliance team inside its global Trust & Safety organization, focused on meeting regulatory requirements, enforcing against illegal items, and keeping items sold on the marketplace from leading to physical harm. The team keeps enforcement consistent and operationally ready for launches, policy rollouts, and enforcement changes.

What you'd do

• Own vertical policy enforcement, manage and report on enforcement activity, and lead rollout when policies, taxonomy, or workflows change.
• Own the seller-facing side of enforcement, writing clear and educational communications on policy expectations.
• Identify gaps in how policy is applied across the team and write guidance for gray-area decisions.
• Take point on high-priority appeals and seller escalations, coordinating with Legal, Comms, and Brand, and rotate on-call for critical events.
• Feed enforcement and seller-outcome trends to Policy, Product, and Engineering to inform roadmap, policy, and tooling changes.
• Run data-informed analyses, including post-mortems and deep dives, to spot emerging abuse trends and recommend actions.
• Advise Enforcement Specialists on difficult decisions and their professional growth.

• Experience building scalable enforcement frameworks and driving consistency across operations.

• Proficiency in SQL or other data-querying tools and in T&S tools and platforms.
• Working knowledge of how marketplaces meet platform rules and the laws and regulations that govern them.
