The Law Enforcement Response Team works on user safety on the platform while managing legal risk and protecting user privacy.

What you'd do

• Process a rising count of user data and preservation requests from police and other agencies.
• Check that each request is processed under applicable laws, internal SOPs, and law enforcement guidelines.
• Work with legal and external partners on user safety, data privacy, and data disclosure issues.
• Gather and analyze request data to improve internal processes.
• Draft internal documentation, workflows, and procedures on data disclosure and privacy.
• Keep accurate internal records and document operational decisions clearly.

• 3 or more years in a law enforcement response role or legal field.
• Fluent English with advanced writing skills.
• Working knowledge of how police obtain user data across borders, including MLATs and court orders.
• Experience with complex, strict regulatory environments, ideally data privacy and disclosure rules in tech (preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in law, criminal justice, or similar (preferred).
• Experience developing or refining operational policies in response to new legal requirements (preferred).
