Leads a Risk Intelligence team inside Risk Detection that gathers and analyzes intelligence to support proactive, data-driven detection of risk on the platform. The team's aim is to move trust and safety work away from manual, reactive workflows, combining first-party and third-party signals in partnership with Product, Data Science, Engineering and other T&S teams.

What you'd do

• Lead, develop and grow a Risk Intelligence team covering collection, analysis and use of intelligence for proactive detection.
• Turn team and organizational priorities into execution plans, operating mechanisms and measurable outcomes.
• Strengthen the channels, storage and use of intelligence from both internal and external sources so signals reach detection decisions.
• Partner with Product, Engineering and Data Science on detection inputs, data collection, internal tooling and reporting.
• Find operational gaps across the intelligence lifecycle and push automation using rules, machine learning and AI where suited.
• Define and track measures of detection quality, operational efficiency and upstream prevention.
• Build a high-standards team culture around sound judgment, clear communication and continuous improvement.

• At least five years in intelligence, risk, T&S, investigations, operations, product strategy or a closely related field.
• Track record of managing and growing high-performing teams.
• Experience running complex cross-functional work in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills for using data to find issues and set priorities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management, including influence across a matrixed organization.
• Hands-on record of using automation or AI tools to make day-to-day work run better.
• Track record of improving systems, workflows or operating models, not only running existing ones.
