The User Safety & Risk Operations team builds operational capacity for new, ambiguous areas of work and works with partner teams to make it durable.

What you'd do

  • Set the incident categories, severity tiers, decision authority, escalation triggers and closure rules for device safety.
  • Draft frontline playbooks for product-safety events, critical escalations, safety advisories and corrective actions.
  • Map out handling for regulated and privacy-sensitive cases, covering restricted access, evidence standards and audit trails.
  • Prepare launch plans, tabletop drills, training, quality checks and post-launch monitoring.
  • Use telemetry, customer signals and case outcomes to spot patterns and feed fixes back into products.
  • Stand up priority workflows through launch, then hand them off to lasting owners in USRO and partner teams.

What it asks for

  • Ability to communicate with operational, technical, legal and executive audiences when evidence is incomplete.
  • Experience with privacy-sensitive sensor, diagnostic, media or household data workflows (preferred).

Worth knowing
