The role, in T&S terms

Written by the T&S Network from TRM Labs's posting.

Post-sale deployment and advisory work for law enforcement customers using blockchain intelligence to trace illicit funds tied to money laundering, fraud and sanctions evasion. The role sits on the public sector team at TRM Labs, which owns onboarding, training and account health for state, local, campus and federal investigators after the contract closes, and feeds investigator needs back into the product roadmap.

What you'd do

  • Serve as the main advisor for a portfolio of law enforcement customer accounts
  • Help investigators apply TRM's platform to trace funds and build cases
  • Design and deliver product onboarding training for customer agencies
  • Teach broader blockchain and investigative training as part of TRM's instructor group
  • Carry customer pain points back to Product and Engineering to shape the roadmap
  • Run weekly customer syncs and quarterly business reviews with assigned accounts
  • Partner with Sales on renewal and expansion work and with TRM Academy on training

What it asks for

  • 5+ years of public sector experience, ideally in law enforcement, financial crime or a related investigative role
  • Comfort supporting active investigations into money laundering, financial crime, sanctions evasion and fraud
  • Hands-on work analyzing blockchain transactions and digital assets, preferably in investigations (preferred)
  • Demonstrated AI fluency with a specific workflow you built or automated and its outcome
  • Ability to use AI tools to scale a book of business while handling unscripted customer conversations

Worth knowing

  • Occasional travel within the US and Canada, a few short trips per quarter
  • About one weekend on-call per month after ramp, monitoring Slack and Intercom with no pager rotation
  • Core overlap during North America business hours required
