TRM Labs is a blockchain intelligence company whose investigation software is used by government agencies and financial institutions. It started in blockchain intelligence. It now equips hundreds of public-sector agencies and financial institutions across threat domains including criminal networks, sanctioned actors, and state-backed threats.

TRM Labs was founded in 2018 to help crimefighters map how threat actors were using cryptocurrency. Its listed offices are in San Francisco, Washington DC, Buenos Aires, London, Paris, Bangalore, and Cairo. It says more than 600 government agencies and financial institutions across 75 countries rely on its data, software, and AI agents.

Its investigators draw on sources beyond the blockchain, including corporate records, cyber threat data, and the dark web. TRM Labs announced a funding round valuing it at $2 billion.
