Launch governance for generative and agentic AI models at Google, run by the Launch Governance and Operations team inside Trust & Safety's Responsible AI pillar. The team manages responsibility risk and governance for model and product launches, working with DeepMind and product teams to get highly capable models out safely and on schedule.

What you'd do

• Build and maintain launch readiness plans and risk evaluations for upcoming model launches, with visibility for leadership.
• Partner with product, engineering and research to build safety and trust processes into the model and product development lifecycle.
• Run data analyses to spot emerging risks, measure mitigation effectiveness and inform launch decisions.
• Communicate complex trust and safety issues clearly to executive stakeholders.
• Streamline operational workflows to improve efficiency and quality of governance work.

What it asks for

• A four-year degree, or hands-on work experience in its place.
• Seven years working in analytics, T&S, policy, cybersecurity or an adjacent area.
• Master's degree or PhD in a relevant field (preferred).
• Experience with machine learning (preferred).
• Experience with SQL, dashboards, data transformation or a scripting language such as Python (preferred).
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills, with ability to influence across functions (preferred).
• English proficiency required for all roles (required).
