What you'd do

• Set the overall safety and security approach for workplaces, events and facilities, with risk assessments and proportionate mitigations
• Lead the planning of physical security systems for both new and current offices
• Oversee guard service relationships and access control policies
• Own incident response, investigation and follow-up from first assessment through resolution
• Build and operate a travel risk program with escalation protocols for elevated-risk destinations
• Protect senior leaders at events, while traveling and when threat levels rise
• Manage security vendors and external partners, setting service standards with Procurement

What it asks for

• 8 to 12 years in corporate security, physical security, law enforcement or a closely related field
• Track record of creating a corporate security function from zero or expanding one sharply
• Deep expertise in access control, CCTV and alarm systems, emergency response planning and threat assessment
• Experience running travel risk and executive protection programs, including vendor management for both
• Experience writing policy that people actually adopt
• Experience partnering with HR and Legal on sensitive, confidential cases
• CPP, PSP or equivalent certification (preferred)
