Why this level
Estimated from the posting rather than stated by the employer: the posting states the level in its title · the title reads as S2 · asks for 4+ years.
The role, in T&S terms
Written by the T&S Network from Boldr's posting.
Senior content review and enforcement work for a platform's flagged and reported content, including the appeals that follow. The role catches cases automated systems get wrong, makes final enforcement calls inside an established policy framework, and handles the customer conversation when decisions are appealed. The posting describes it as a journey-level Trust & Safety position.
What you'd do
- Check flagged content against the material itself, weighing automated flags against several human reports.
- Decide enforcement scope from single-item removal up to disabling a full account or workspace, logging each decision in an audit trail.
- Take appeal handoffs from front-line support, evaluate them against the record, and write final responses that cite the policy section without revealing investigative detail.
- Triage sensitive and high-severity categories, escalating ambiguous cases and anything meeting the mandatory reporting threshold immediately.
- Identify coordinated abuse across multiple accounts and separate real bad-actor networks from legitimate accounts hit by report-bombing.
- Log confirmed false positives, report recurring false-positive patterns, and send policy gaps and template fixes to the manager.
- Process refunds and handle data export or account recovery requests, denying them when policy requires.
What it asks for
- Formal grounding in content moderation, trust and safety, or a related compliance or enforcement field, through certification, structured training, or documented hands-on experience.
- 3 to 4+ years of related work experience in trust and safety, compliance, or risk.
- Track record of making enforcement calls alone and standing behind them.
- Strong written English, since responses go to customers unedited.
- Comfort with case-management and reporting tools such as ticketing systems, admin tools, and spreadsheets.
- US business hours required, with some flexibility as operations need it.
Worth knowing
- Exposure to disturbing material, including explicit, graphic, hateful, or exploitative content.
- Wellness support: the role requires the ability to flag when a case is affecting you, and the manager treats that as normal.
- Some content and context is intentionally restricted from the reviewer's view.
