What they do
ModSquad supplies outsourced trust and safety teams drawn from a distributed workforce it says spans 90+ countries and 55+ languages. The work covers content moderation across text, images, video, audio and live streams, community management, fraud and platform integrity (fake accounts and coordinated inauthentic behavior), user appeals, policy development and real-time crisis response. AI pre-classifies content and people make the final call.
It also runs AI safety work: red teaming, RLHF and RLAIF, bias and hallucination detection, and data annotation. ModSquad says it runs 24/7/365 with 40% built-in surge capacity, and names GDPR, DSA, DMCA and COPPA among the rules it works to.
