Mastodon moderation
Reports, account actions, filters and domain blocks built into Mastodon.
About Mastodon moderation
Mastodon moderation is a set of built-in moderation features for Mastodon servers, made by Mastodon gGmbH. Its moderation actions are intended for admins and moderators of individual servers.
The documentation describes moderation of individual users, including freezing, limiting and suspending accounts, and of entire servers through domain blocks. Admins can import blocklists of servers identified as problematic by other administrators, and export their own blocklist to share.

How it works
Mastodon's built in moderation gives instance admins and moderators a report queue, account actions (warn, silence, suspend, freeze), content warnings and sensitive media handling, server rules, custom filters, and domain level blocks and limits for federation. Blocklists are shared informally between instances and increasingly through tools like FIRES.
