The role, in T&S terms

Written by the T&S Network from Sony's posting.

Security risk reviews of AI systems, agents, workflows, tools and integrations across Sony Interactive Entertainment's PlayStation business. The role identifies where AI could be misused or fail, and works with Responsible AI & Governance and security teams to build a practical path forward as the primary hands-on practitioner in an emerging AI Security capability.

What you'd do

  • Run hands-on security reviews of AI use cases, starting at design and continuing through launch readiness.
  • Assess end-to-end designs for security risks, control gaps, data lineage, classification and operational concerns.
  • Apply SIE's security risk assessment methodology to AI-enabled and agentic systems, flagging where AI-specific controls are needed.
  • Turn findings into risk-based recommendations and track stakeholders through to resolution.
  • Provide early consultation, education and reusable guidance to teams across SIE's business units.
  • Use security tooling and discovery insights to spot emerging risks, engage owners and document findings in GRC systems.
  • Refine AI security requirements, review practices and reference patterns, and escalate matters needing more expertise.

What it asks for

  • Six or more years securing, assessing, building or integrating technical systems, with recent deep generative AI work.
  • Practical grasp of modern AI application stacks and the ability to follow data and system interactions to find weaknesses.
  • Grounding in security basics such as identity, permissions, data protection, integrations and monitoring, applied to AI and agentic systems.
  • Hands-on use of AI tools, APIs, cloud services, code or automation to explore systems.
  • Familiarity with AI risk frameworks and emerging AI security risks.
  • Experience with AI red teaming, threat modeling or security evaluation of LLM and agentic systems (preferred).
  • Experience with cloud AI platforms, third-party AI services or enterprise security tooling (preferred).

Worth knowing

  • Background check at offer stage, which may include criminal background checks for some roles.
