The role, in T&S terms

Written by the T&S Network from Anthropic's posting.

Enforcement work on account takeover and credential abuse for Anthropic's AI products, built around separating compromised customer accounts from actors deliberately abusing the platform. The account abuse team is building a repeatable program to replace ad hoc incident response, and the role may widen into other enforcement areas over time.

What you'd do

  • Probe credential-theft cases on both in-house and partner platforms, following one actor's activity across linked accounts and product areas
  • Build and run revocation, customer notice, and access-restoration steps for accounts that were taken over
  • Work with Engineering and Data Science to tell hijacked customer traffic apart from deliberate misuse
  • Draft the policy framework for compromise cases, including situations where the company can't confirm a customer's security setup
  • Coordinate with threat intel staff tracking new credential-abuse methods and the people running them
  • Give the Safeguards policy team detailed feedback on gaps exposed by real enforcement cases
  • Serve as the enforcement expert whenever a compromise overlaps with an active abuse probe

What it asks for

  • Comfort using SQL or similar tools to trace actor behavior and measure outcomes
  • Strong written communication for briefing technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience with fraud or risk vendors such as device or network intelligence platforms (preferred)
