The role, in T&S terms

Written by the T&S Network from Amazon's posting.

Product strategy for real-time fraud enforcement across AWS, turning ML and AI risk assessments of identity, account activity, payment and service usage into consistent actions against fraud and account compromise. The role sits in the AWS Payments & Fraud Prevention team and covers enforcement across services and regions.

What you'd do

  • Own the vision and roadmap for converting risk assessments into consistent enforcement actions.
  • Define reusable enforcement capabilities so fraud mitigation does not need a separate build for each AWS use case.
  • Set requirements for enforcement steps that have to finish within moments of a risk call.
  • Partner with Engineering to make enforcement scalable, observable and resilient across services and regions.
  • Set how risk severity, confidence, customer context and potential impact determine the response.
  • Define the actions, customer messaging, audit trails, human checks and recovery paths.
  • Expand enforcement coverage to compute, AI, Marketplace and new products, and build it into launch planning.

What it asks for

  • 5+ years of technical product management in internet businesses.
  • Experience taking a product from definition through engineering design to market.
  • Experience driving direction and alignment across cross-functional teams.
  • Experience weighing in on engineering choices about technology for a product.
  • Experience using AI tools to speed up product development, research and decisions.
  • Experience building automated solutions with engineering and technical teams (preferred).
