Backend engineering for the trust and safety platforms that protect users from harmful content and abusive behavior. The team builds content moderation process systems, a rule engine, strategy and feature engines, moderation platforms, data platforms, and risk insight systems across the TnS organization. This is a General Hire graduate track where candidates are matched to one or more TnS teams after a unified interview.

What you'd do

• Help design the overall architecture of TnS data application platforms and write the specifications for them.
• Lead engineers in implementing data application architecture and keep improving its stability and efficiency.
• Reduce complexity and cost across storage, computation, and service architecture.
• Design and build systems for data integration, offline and real-time development, governance, and BI analysis.
• Coach the team and build technical influence inside and outside the department.

What it asks for

• Completing or recently completed a Bachelor's or above in computer science or a related discipline.
• Software development experience in at least one of C++, Python, or Java.
• Proficiency with distributed, high-concurrency server stacks such as RPC, message queues, link tracing, and service governance.
• Experience with big data systems such as Spark, Flink, ClickHouse, or HBase.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with data insight work such as machine learning or statistical analysis (preferred).
