About Terrorist Content Analytics Platform
The Terrorist Content Analytics Platform (TCAP) is developed by Tech Against Terrorism. The TCAP primarily focuses on small tech platforms who may not have the capacity to moderate terrorist content through automated processes.
The TCAP launched in November 2020 with support from Public Safety Canada. Tech Against Terrorism is an initiative launched and supported by the United Nations Counter Terrorism Executive Directorate (UN CTED). The TCAP provides tech platforms with a user friendly interface to access information on all content identified on their platform.

How it works
The Terrorist Content Analytics Platform, run by Tech Against Terrorism, finds terrorist content on smaller platforms and alerts them. Analysts and automated crawlers monitor known terrorist channels, verify that material comes from a designated organization, then send the hosting platform an alert with the URL and the designation basis so the platform can remove it with confidence. Platforms get a dashboard and can pull alerts by API.
It's aimed at services that can't run their own counterterrorism team. Everything is human verified, which keeps false positives low and volume manageable.
