About CSAI Match
CSAI Match is a video hash-matching technology made by YouTube, which is part of Google. YouTube makes CSAI Match available to partners in industry and NGOs. CSAI Match is designed for video.
The pages state that the technology was the first to use hash-matching to identify known violative content. Partners can use it to detect near-duplicate segments of known CSAI content, including re-encodings, truncations and scaling of CSAI videos. The Content Safety API and CSAI Match are offered to qualifying partners free of charge.

How it works
CSAI Match is Google's video hashing technology for known child sexual abuse material, developed for YouTube. It fingerprints video in a way that survives re-encoding and trimming and matches against Google's database of known abuse videos. Google offers it to partner platforms through its Protecting Children program; you integrate the API, send video, get matches.
It's for video specifically. For images you'd use PhotoDNA or the Content Safety API alongside it.
