How it works
Checkstep is a moderation platform with regulatory compliance built in. It routes content through its own and third party classifiers, into review queues with policies attached, and out to enforcement, and along the way it generates the artifacts the DSA and Online Safety Act require: statements of reasons, notice and appeal handling, transparency reports and risk assessment evidence. It also handles trusted flagger intake.
It's aimed at mid size platforms that need compliance without building a T&S engineering team.
