Checkstep is a global content moderation platform that uses AI to detect and action harmful user-generated content online. It supports moderation of text, image, video and audio content. Its platform covers policy management, content scanning and automation, human moderation workflows and transparency reporting.

Checkstep's CEO and co-founder, Guillaume Bouchard, is based in London. The team numbers more than 15 engineers, innovators and trust and safety experts located across the globe. It is certified under the SOC2 and ISO 27001 security frameworks.

Customers can set up different moderation queues based on detection policies, regions and regulations. It also works with Business Process Outsourcing companies that provide human moderation.
