Senior Staff Software Engineer- Ai Governance

Engineering work on the AI Governance platform, a product for governing AI systems that covers AI governance, compliance, safety and agent runtime governance requirements. The senior staff role sits on the AI Governance Engineering team and turns those requirements into scalable platform capabilities for organizations building, deploying and operating AI systems.

What you'd do

• Serve as a deep technical expert able to troubleshoot any major component of the AI Governance platform.
• Set technical strategy and architecture for platform evolution across distributed systems.
• Lead design and delivery of secure, highly available services for AI governance, observability, controls and agent runtime management.
• Lead technical initiatives across multiple engineering teams and align their execution.
• Mentor engineers through architecture reviews, design guidance and best practices.
• Take part in incident response, root cause analysis and continuous platform improvement.

• Twelve or more years building large enterprise distributed systems in software engineering.
• Strong hands-on command of Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices and cloud-native design.
• Experience designing and running scalable, secure, resilient web services.

• Master's degree in computer science, engineering or a related field (preferred).
