What you'd do

• Build and keep up the systems that stop abuse and moderate content for the company and its end users.
• Work with engineers and researchers on AI techniques to measure, monitor and improve model alignment to human values.
• Handle live platform incidents and fix them at the source.
• Develop internal tools and infrastructure that target what causes systems to fail.
• Assess risks of new products and features and design mitigations that keep the product experience intact.

What it asks for

• Track record of operating live production services at companies growing quickly.
• Experience with Python, or with C++, Rust or Go, and ability to ramp up on Python quickly.
• Experience with content safety, fraud or abuse work, or strong motivation for present-day AI safety.
• Experience deploying classifiers or machine learning models (preferred)
• Familiarity with modern ML infrastructure (preferred)
• Strong project management and self-directed execution with minimal guidance.
