Forward Deployed Engineer

Forward deployed engineering for an AI performance and governance platform, with the engineer embedded on customer teams to build integrations, dashboards and UI that surface evals and guardrails. The role also feeds patterns from bespoke customer work back into product as reusable features.

What you'd do

• Advise customers on agent architecture, AI best practices, emerging standards and AI initiative strategy.
• Work with developers, product managers, security engineers and GRC analysts inside regulated enterprise environments.
• Turn patterns seen across customer deployments into reusable primitives and features for the core product.

What it asks for

• Strong full-stack engineering ability across infrastructure, backend services and customer-facing UI.
• Fluency with modern AI tooling and a rigorous approach to showing that AI systems actually work.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently on a customer team.
• Prior forward-deployed, solutions engineering, consulting or embedded engineering experience (preferred).
• Startup founding or early engineer experience (preferred).
• Knowledge of AI monitoring, evals, tracing or guardrail tooling (preferred).
• Experience building agents or LLM applications, including eval harnesses (preferred).
