Radar covers all major fraud types in a single unified solution, and can be used independently of Stripe Payments. Stripe Radar's account fraud product is aimed at onboarding more legitimate accounts so that a platform can grow while minimizing financial risk.

How it works
Radar is fraud detection built into Stripe payments. Every charge is scored by models trained on the whole Stripe network, and Radar blocks or flags high risk payments automatically. Radar for Fraud Teams adds a rules editor (block, allow, review, request 3DS), lists, a review queue, and risk insights per payment so analysts can see why something scored the way it did.
If you take payments through Stripe you already have it. The teams edition is a cheap add on for anyone who wants to write their own rules.
