How it works

Private Detector is the model Bumble uses to blur unsolicited lewd images in chat, released open source. It's an EfficientNet based classifier trained on Bumble's own labeled data to detect lewd images with a focus on the unsolicited nude use case. Weights and inference code are on GitHub.

Good for dating and messaging apps that want to blur first and let the recipient choose.
