How it works

Fingerprint identifies a browser or device with a persistent visitor ID, even when the person clears cookies, uses incognito, or changes IP. It combines browser, hardware and network signals server side and returns the ID plus "smart signals" like bot detection, VPN and proxy use, tampering, and whether the device has been seen before. That makes it the layer under a lot of fraud and abuse systems: you use it to tie repeat signups, ban evaders and account takeovers back to the same device.

You add a small script or mobile SDK, then query the API at the points that matter (signup, login, checkout). It isn't a decision engine; you write the rules on top.
