About Amazon Transcribe

Amazon Transcribe is a fully managed, automatic speech recognition (ASR) service made by Amazon Web Services. The service is built for developers who want to add speech to text capabilities to their applications.

The service offers a toxicity detection feature for gaming, social media and other peer to peer conversations. Amazon Transcribe supports use across 100+ languages.

How it works

Transcribe converts audio to text in batch or streaming, with speaker labels, custom vocabularies and, for voice chat, a toxicity detection feature that flags profanity, hate, harassment, threats and sexual content in the audio itself. It's the AWS building block for moderating voice: transcribe, then run text classifiers or use the built in toxicity scores.
