• Draft the policies that define spam on Pinterest.
• Write detailed enforcement guidance for Operations teams fighting spam.
• Partner with Operations, Product and Engineering to implement spam policies and enforce them at scale.
• Advise Policy teammates and cross-functional partners on spam and abuse.
• Track industry trends and new detection methods, and apply them to stay ahead of bad actors.
• Review graphic and disturbing content, discuss difficult subjects, and respond to escalations.

What it asks for

• A bachelor's or master's in a field like policy or law, or equivalent work history.
• Seven or more years of trust and safety or integrity policy experience.
• Track record writing and enforcing spam, integrity or cybersecurity rules at a large global platform.
• Solid grasp of inauthentic coordination, linked account clusters, evasion and account takeovers.
• Working familiarity with anti-spam tooling, SQL, scripting, APIs and the bot landscape.
• Adversarial threat modeling to assess new products, APIs and monetization surfaces for vulnerabilities.
