How it works

Singapore's IMDA issues the Code of Practice for Online Safety for designated social media services and the App Distribution Services code, requiring measures against harmful content, child safety protections, user reporting tools and annual online safety reports. Together with the Online Criminal Harms Act it defines what compliance looks like in Singapore.
