• Develop and enhance systems that detect and prevent financial fraud, botting and scripting.
• Design solutions that blunt adversarial attacks while keeping the user experience intact, alongside cross-functional partners.
• Work with the wider engineering team to design and implement abuse detection and prevention systems.
• Help respond to live incidents on the platform.
• Build new tooling and infrastructure aimed at the underlying causes of abuse.

• Three or more years of hands-on professional software engineering work.
• Track record of running backend services and data pipelines in production.
• Ability to build software systems that defend against abuse, with an interest in AI safety in production.
• Strong technical skills and ability to pick up new tools and frameworks quickly.
• Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, Azure, Python, Postgres and Kafka (preferred, not required).
