- Turn one-off investigations into recurring reports and alerts that surface new abuse patterns automatically.
- Size the financial exposure of each abuse vector to prioritize work by cost.
- Partner with product on controls at onboarding, verification, and bonus eligibility, and measure their effect on legitimate users.
- Provide analysis that compliance uses for investigations, escalations, and regulatory filings.

- Expert SQL for hypothesis-driven analysis across large behavioral datasets.
- Hands-on work building fraud rules or models, setting cutoffs, and measuring precision and recall.
- Combining internal and outside data sources to produce findings the business can act on.
- Know-how in on-chain tracing, wallet clustering, or blockchain forensics (preferred).
- Background in trade surveillance, manipulation detection, or AML (preferred).
- Stats or ML skills in Python or R for anomaly detection, graph methods, or clustering (preferred).
Terms in this role
