Engineering work on the Trust & Safety Engineering team at Vercel, building and running production systems that detect and stop abuse across the platform at internet scale. What you'd do

• Build and run systems that catch and shut down abusive activity across the platform, with attention to reliability and monitoring
• Create the ML plumbing: training and feature pipelines, model serving, and frameworks for measuring model quality
• Put LLM and classical ML detection and classifiers into production, rewriting prototypes into code others can maintain

• Five or more years building and operating production software at scale
• Production coding in Python, plus JavaScript/TypeScript or Go
• Hands-on experience building or maintaining ML infrastructure such as training or serving pipelines, feature stores, or evaluation tools
• Experience putting LLMs into production, including prompt design and evaluation
• Built an open source ML tool (preferred)
• Worked in trust and safety, fraud, or abuse prevention (preferred)
