About ZeroFox
ZeroFox is an American external cybersecurity company based in Baltimore, Maryland. It provides cloud-based software as a service for organizations to expose and disrupt phishing and fraud campaigns, credential theft, impersonations and data breaches that target brands, domains, people and assets. Its HNTR Platform unifies cyber threat intelligence, digital risk protection, attack surface management, and physical security intelligence in one solution.
ZeroFox was created in 2013 under the name Riskive and changed to its current name months later. It began as a startup inside Betamore, an incubator in Baltimore's Federal Hill neighborhood. It went public on August 4, 2022, through a SPAC deal. In 2024, private equity firm Haveli Investments acquired it for approximately $350 million.
ZeroFox also sells executive protection, which it says safeguards more than 19K high-profile executives, VIPs, and leaders. Its adversary disruption service handles takedowns of malicious and impersonating domains, fraudulent social media accounts, phishing websites and rogue mobile apps.
