About WeProtect Global Alliance
WeProtect Global Alliance is a coalition working to end technology-facilitated child sexual exploitation and abuse. Its network spans governments, private sector leaders, civil society organisations, and intergovernmental bodies. It has published the Global Threat Assessment, including a 2023 edition outlining the scope of online child sexual exploitation.
It launched as an independent international institution in April 2020. Iain Drennan is its Executive Director. Its team numbers over 12, and its membership comprises more than 350 organisations and governments.
